      Free Online Age Calculator

This age calculator shows your exact age the moment you open the page — years, months, and days on the real calendar, plus how far you are through this year of life. No Calculate button. Pick a decade, a year, and a birthday; the hero, next-birthday countdown, and week-of-birth chip update instantly.

      Exact age, not an approximation

Age is calendar subtraction, the same method as the date calculator. Leap days and short months are not rounded with 365.25 or 30.44. If you were born on 29 February, choose whether non-leap years land on 1 March or 28 February — next birthday and milestones follow that rule.

      • Live years + leftover months and days
      • Optional birth time so seconds lived can tick
      • Shareable #hash links

Next birthday, week of birth, and milestones

The ring is this year of life (day 73 of 365, for example). The calendar column uses the same ISO 8601, US, or custom week numbers as the week number calculator. You also see when you turn 18, 21, 30…, hit 10,000 days, or pass one billion seconds.

Age on a date, or compare two people

Age on a date answers “how old will I be on 1 January 2030?” or “how old was I then?”. Compare takes two birthdays: the difference, and the date the younger person catches the older person’s age today. Need a ticking countdown to the next birthday instead? Open it in the countdown tool.

      Holidays, export, and privacy

Pick a country to see whether the next birthday is a public holiday (same 24-country list as the calendar). Add birthday downloads a .ics file; Copy link shares the live calculation; Share card saves an image in your browser. Everything runs on your device — no account, no upload.

Online age calculator help & questions

➥ Age is calendar subtraction: complete years, then leftover months, then leftover days. February 29 and uneven month lengths are handled on the real calendar — not 365.25 or 30.44 approximations. The number updates live; there is no Calculate button.
➥ Use the decade chips (1990s, 2000s, …), tap a year, then tap a day on the month calendar. The title above the calendar toggles between month and year grid. Today jumps the calendar to the current month.
➥ In non-leap years you can celebrate on 1 March (the default) or 28 February. The next-birthday countdown and milestone dates follow that choice.
➥ Yes. Open Age on a date, keep your birth date, and pick the target date on the calendar (or type via the chips). The hero and breakdown switch to that date. The mode is stored in the URL hash so you can share it.
➥ Enter two dates of birth. You see each person's age today, the difference in years/months/days, and the date when the younger person will be as old as the older person is today.
➥ It uses the same ISO 8601, US, or Custom start-day rules as the Week Number and Date Calculator tools, and the choice is remembered across all three. The chip “Born in week …” uses that standard.
➥ Optional. If you set hours and minutes, the seconds-lived chip ticks in real time. Milestones such as 1 billion seconds also use that time of day. Leave it empty to count in whole days only.
➥ Yes. Add birthday downloads an .ics for the next occurrence. Copy link shares a URL whose hash stores the mode, dates, time, leap-day rule, and country. Share card saves a 1200×630 image in your browser.
➥ No. Dates, time, leap-day rule, and country stay in your browser (and in the URL hash if you copy the link). Nothing is sent to a server to compute the result.
